Talking Desktop Clock is a utility which gives you the ability to make your desktop clock more attractive. Turn it into an analog clock or a digital clock using various offered clock styles, choose different date styles, add effects to the clock, play chimes and much more.

The tool is completely customizable and is composed of lots of nice features. You can keep the desktop clock in front of other windows or keep it behind, add background colors or make it transparent, create a new custom clock style, resize it by dragging its edges, and apply many more changes. The tool helps you to get familiar with all its features very easily. When you select its help option, it will display a description of whatever the mouse is pointing at.

Furthermore, this program provides many predefined chime styles and also helps in installing additional chime styles. One of the other interesting features is a Speech option, which announces the time each hour, ½ of an hour, and ¼ of an hour. The current version of the clock has some incomplete features.
Advantages
  • Easy to use, fully customizable.
